I cut myself again on the right index finger. Two more times.

And I'm working the "swing shift" for the next 3 days. I start at 2pm, and finish at 10pm. This is due to a system ugrading at work which did not go as smoothly as hoped, and so we're in a major backlog crisis.

Despite the late finishing time, I am quite looking forward to it actually, because it meant that I do not have to face queries, either by email or phone. And I get to stuff both my ears with earphones (one of which I accidentally dunked into my bowl of soup the other day) instead of just one, because I have to take into account the possibilities of the phone ringing or my colleagues calling me, and I can't hear anything with both my ears stuffed with earphones.
